Di Weekend has made another visit to Chez Jolie. Once again, we were awarded 21 out of 25 points. We are incredibly pleased with the positive review, thank you.
“Most importantly, this spring dish is of the highest quality and perfectly cooked. Could it have been cooked a little longer? Hardly, the almost slightly caramelized core is exemplary.”
The Krogkommissionen from Dagens Nyheter has visited Chez Jolie. We humbly thank them for their incredible words.
“Since Chez Jolie opened its doors on Ingmar Bergman’s street, it has quickly emerged as the hottest and most fully booked French restaurant in Stockholm. Stepping into the meticulously renovated and warmly lit premises is like stepping into a nostalgic dream of a luxurious brasserie on the continent, with an eclectic mix of older and newer designs.”
DI Weekend has visited Chez Jolie and conducted their restaurant review. We were honored to receive 21 out of 25 points along with many kind words, both about the food, bar, and ambiance. We thank them for that!
“A French triumph – outstanding luxury in a bistro setting.”
“If you have a fondness for French cuisine, you will definitely recognize yourself in the menu. While some dishes will be textbook examples of French classics, others will be more creative interpretations.”
Chez Jolie is located in Bardot’s former premises at Ingmar Bergman’s street 2, an address that has housed a variety of restaurants over the years. Both the food and the interior are clearly inspired by the classic French bistro, which is also evident in the glassware.
This sets the stage for me to declare Chez Jolie as the best restaurant opening of the autumn.
“But Einarsson and his team can also offer French-inspired delicacies such as oeuf en gelée, boiled egg in jellied oxtail consommé with celery remoulade, veal tongue.”
